Someone made the complaint that the sign gave off "A bad vibe."
I sure as hell hope so!
I'm getting really sick and tired of people protecting victimizers! I gained a bunch of new viewers around town explaining the chain of events.
Even in explaining the chain of events to people near the house... the odd patterns displayed themselves before the eyes of a witness. No--it's not paranoia.
There is no reason for a person to fear a random woman staring them down! Normal people shake that off!
This is a few weeks after an extremely strange encounter around 3:30-4am involving a man... that looked like a gang member... rushing towards me begging for a cigarette...
...and only days after being sexually harassed by a man in the liquor store near the house. Then... boring street becomes gang central... with random dudes I've never seen, before, with red accents in strange places!
Black shirt, fatigue shorts, and bright red socks??? What guy you've ever met makes a fashion statement like that??? He spotted by another person as I'm describing him to them!
When I turned around to look... he was spooked. Now two people see him acting weird.
A little bit later... my husband is outside... just after explaining to him the whole thing... and then my husband spotted him, too, exiting the garage!
"Is that him?" You can't miss those socks! It looks ridiculous!
I look, "Yup." Then I charge out of the garage and say, "Howdey, neighbor," because he didn't live on the street.
He said, "Gotta beat this heat." On the one morning when it was cool! Why didn't he say hello? A normal person would've taken alarm to that display... and they would've introduced themselves... if they were a neighbor!
I kept staring him down... he did not turn back around... never seen him, since.
The next guy I saw was wearing all red. Red shir, red shorts, red shoes. Again... what dude makes a weird fashion statement like that? Get real!
So I stare him down... and he cowered. Really??? That makes no sense. A normal person would look at me in bewilderment... or anger right back!
There's more... just read over the last couple of days!
...and lemme tell you something else...
Either, coincidentally, the weirdness stopped on its own...
...or they read the blog and they're backing off, already.
The point is... all this weirdness is being reported to the police, tomorrow. Just reported... because it's all speculation.
The sign comes down afterward... I don't care if it takes down the vibe... you rapist-protectors! Are you kidding me???
Do you honestly think I would put up a sign like that, lightly??? Don't be cruel! Of course not!!!
At present... I don't have a case for a restraining order. But--bringing a lot of attention to this can protect me! The first step in the process is reporting this odd pattern over the last few days.
Should patterns change, again, after this nonsense is in their system... then, they are more likely to offer protection.
You should want protection in the neighborhood from rapists! Especially if there is a woman in your house on this street!
...But as I say... after reporting to the police. I will not feel at ease until they know. During normal business hours, waiting in line as long as it takes, patiently... because--it could be paranoia.
...I just highly doubt it.
Have a good night neighborhood... please understand this protects us all.
